Fvckíng wounded. My mum's surprise 50th birthday party.

Sky Go will be getting abused.

She won't have time to mind about the two restricted view Kop tickets you give her at 6.45pm then... ;-)

Son thinks "Love her to bits but why did I arrange this 'kin party before checking the playoff dates?"

Mum thinks "Love him to bits but why did he arrange this "kin party before checking the playoff dates?"

Invitees think "'What a 'kin family".

I remember back in 84, I had to attend a really important political meeting, but it was the same night as a home v Fulham. The chairman, also a Wednesdayite, marked my cards in no uncertain terms and said "you flippingattend this meeting, its vital".

I really, really tried to attend the meeting, and upto about 7pm I was going. I left the house and saw the floodlights. The rest is obvious.

At about 7.28 I made my way to my usual place on the Kop, and who did I bump into?

"Mr Chairman. Fancy meeting you here."

Would love to finish the story with a 4-0 but we were carp and Davies equalised thanks to a Martin Hodge howler for a 1-1.
