Saturday's Team Talk early

Not really... Says it exactly how it is - We do have everything to lose

No we don't. We can lose and it is still in our own hands. Cardiff MUST win this. That is where the pressure lies and the fact they are coming to a fortress with wee wee poor away form.

Total non-story to try and get some publicity for himself.

Nerves and pressure will be a good thing for us. Will get the players up for it and the adrenaline flowing.

This season we've played our best football when under pressure.

Re Dave Jones - we had it all to lose when we played Wycombe... but we won because we wanted it and we were better. I'm expecting the same to happen against Cardiff.

You sound like the Blades when they came to Hillsborough... the rest is history.

We're in the position of power - Of course we have it all to lose

He says Cardiff have the edge as they have been in play offs in recent years. Well we have a few players who were in the playoffs last year.

It will all be about how we tactically approach the game.

1)Will we sit back and aim for the draw, keep our shape and counter attack with fewer players.

2)Play as we normally do

3) Go for an early goal and sit back knowing that they will have to score 2 against a good defence and a good home record.

I would fancy our chances of even if we lose this game, Cardiff dropping points against Birmingham and all we'd need is a point against Wolves who are more than beatable. There is pressure on us because we hold the position as of now but they need to turn up on Saturday. They can't play with the attitude of 'they'll make a mistake at some point', we might be 2-0 up by then.

I'didn't say option 3 is the only one we can rule out given our first half performances for most of the the season. Confident we'll get a draw from this game.

yeah i understand what you meant. I think we will draw but what do you do at 0-0 at 70 mins, 80, mins 90 mins. Its a difficult tactical decisions that could lead us to win or lose.

I for one wouldnt know what to do. Its like a champions league fixture where one team need an away goal to win the overall fixture. Some teams gamble offensively and some teams gamble defensively. I will have no nails by 70th min if it is still 0-0. Would prefer to go for a goal and defend as we have proven we can defend.

Not sure I agree. You can spin it either way; ours to lose, whilst they have to win - we don't. Pressure on both teams. I suspect both will have jitters at times.

So far almost all the comment on this game is coming from the Cardiff side. Theyre already hyping it beyond belief.

The noise coming from the Cardiff press is only going to get louder as the week goes on, hopefully we'll do what we usually do and keep things low key, keep our heads down and our mouths shut.

Let them crack on with all the chatter, get all worked up and theyre more likely to feel the pressure going into the game than us.
