Doesn't seem to be a thread praising team today so I will start one.

Thought we played well today against a very good team. Weathered the inevitable storm for 20 minutes then got ourselves into it. Derby were very energetic from the off and pressed us really well. We defended very well in this period. I thought we were the better side over the next 70 minutes and that Bannon had got the winner. Was disappointed how easily Russel got free and was allowed to cross. It was a superb cross by the way. Thought Carlos got it spot on today with tactics and substitutions in what was a very tough fixture. Thought we could have got a second on the break if we had moved the ball a bit quicker and been a little more incisive but a very good point. Proud of em today.

Good post and I agree totally. After a steady start we grew into it to the point where I thought we were the better side for long spells. Hooper's back heel was sublime, a great goal from bazza and a shame we didn't get the win. We certainly held our own with the big spenders

Agreed!

I had to watch the game in with the Derby fans but a load of them were talking amongst themselves saying it was a good game of football and that we were one of the better sides footballing-wise who played there this season. We looked solid and always a threat on the break.

I really enjoyed the game. Considering the run Derby are on, and the slight wobble we have suffered over the past few games, the lads showed a great deal of energy and spirit.  Hopper connecting properly with Lee's brilliant run and pass in the first half and I think we would have gone on and won, however, a point is still a good point. Cardiff have to do the chasing, a point will be good enough. If someone had said at the start of the season we would have been in this position, I would have snapped their hand off. Good luck next week lads.

very enjoyable . football as it should be played both sides earned credits but i reckon we shaded it after 20 minuits or so ,their goal should have never reached bent as Russel ought to have been cut out long before the cross , but hey ho that,s football for you ,the lads did well

A very good game to watch both teams played well, were solid and impressive. Considering the circumstances and what was at stake, that was a very impressive performance, which can give us positivity and belief going into what will be a kind of pre-play off qualifier to get into the play offs.

The point back at their place was massive, especially if we get over the line. Its been a thrilling season: we've been hard to beat at times; kept lots of clean sheets again, scored some cracking goals, held our own against some strong sides. Despite starting the season with a new head coach and more or less a new squad, and having to play catch up at the start of the season. I'd have never have thought we'd be in this position back at the start of the season. What will be will be, regardless of whether we make it or not, it's been a impressive, entertaining and solid season, epitomised by that performance against Derby. Just one more big performance like that and we will be in the play offs. We can be proud of the team and the club this season and whatever happens the future looks bright.
