kristmace
Westwood was phenomenal. I felt really bad voting for him over Bannan.

Hawkeye
Westwood - 8 - won us that point, best keeper in the league. kicking erratic again. Hunt - 6 - kept their wingers quiet Loovens - 7 - solid and unflappable Lees - 7 - freebie from leeds. . Pudil - 6 - solid but didn't seem to get as forward as normal Lee - 7 - he covers some ground, and really bust a gut to support hooper. Lopez - 5 - can't work out if he's overshadowed by lee and bannan, or he's had a poor game Bannan - 7 - great goal, much better play today but he's lost out left. McGeady - 5 - won't be looking to get him in permanently. can't think of much he did? Forestieri - 7 - stood out and the best outfield player on the pitch today Hooper - 6 - needs a goal, think playing lone striker doesn't work. Joao - 6 - runs the channels but doesn't retain the possession well enough. Matias - 6 - didn't do much but I think he'll come good again. Helan - 6 - lucky not to get sent off but gave us an out. Still too wasteful. Westwood my man of the match, just pipping bannan and FF.

areNOTwhatTHEYseem
After a couple of indifferent performances by his standard, Barry Bannan returned to his imperious best today. The goal wasn't too bad, either.

IstillhateSteveBould
Westwood 8 - Some crucial saves. Hunt 6 - Rescued us a few times but got lucky after messing about with the ball on a couple of occasions. Lees 7 - Solid as usual Loovens 7 - Same Pudil 7 - Mr Steady. Did his job well. Mcgeady 5 - Had his little moments but generally poor. Sloppy passes, held on to ball too long and created nothing. Lee 7 - Grafted as usual. Broke things up, protected the back 4. Could've used the ball better but was up against a very strong Derby midfield. Lopez 6 - Game passed him by a bit, but again, up against a strong midfield. Gave away a few silly free kicks in dangerous areas. Tidy with the ball as ever. Bannan 8 - Great all round. Tracked back, won tackles, used the ball well, some great bits of skill and of course a superb goal. Forestieri 7 - Our biggest threat as ever. Hooper 5 - Anonymous apart from the flick to Bannan for the goal. Joao 6 - Gave us an outlet with some good runs. Could've used the ball better though. Matias 6 - Impressed with his improved workrate. Came on and did a job for the team.
nevthelodgemoorowl
Westwood - 9 - won us that point, best keeper in the league. kicking, more assists than any other keeper. Hunt - 7 - kept their wingers quiet Loovens - 7 - solid and unflappable Lees - 6 - Needs to smarten his ideas up getting out with the line. Pudil - 7 - solid. Lee - 7 - much better today seems to have lost the tired look. Lopez - 7 - Knows the game inside out and it shows. Bannan - 9 - great goal, looks far better for the bit of freedom inside. McGeady - 6 - Needs to gamble a lot more, has the beating of most in his locker, Confidence. Forestieri - 8 - Class in spades. Hooper - 7 - more than decent today needs to hit the net. Great game management so sick at the leveller but never felt the game was outside our control.
McRightSide
I actually thought pretty much every player on the pitch played well A high quality game played out by two very evenly matched teams. Bannan gets my vote, but I thought Westwood, Lopez, Lees & Loovens were also excellent
mozzy85
Voting for bannan just because derby fan behind me (I was in home end) kept saying he was poo poo ( think bannan my have knobbed his wife). Then goes and scores that cracker. It took all my self control to not turn around and laugh at him!
