Captain Sl-OWL-ly
It's a crock of crap, why saddle the youngsters of today with sadness of the past, there's now been the final enquiry, surely it's time to move on FFS... Sorry if that offends but I've had to put up with this for years having worked around Middlewood road and Hillsborough corner the Monday after and hearing the stories of drunken 'Pool fans, I agree no one should go to a football match and not expect to go home but it's a generation on now... Time to move on, time we had a new West Stand...

shandypants
Dont agree with that I feel really uncomfortable with that if I'm honest. It doesn't seem right and feels inappropriate. Don't ask me why because I couldn't answer.

darklord
Kids don't need death thrust upon them. There's enough crap in the world they are inadvertently exposed to without costing to add to it. I get the sentiment but find it a little unnecessary at their age
southportdc
Liverpool held their last service this year. With the verdict coming soon, it's time to move on for everyone.
lukestheman82
Seems a bit of a publicity excercise to me. I hate arranged shows of mourning, especially when its kids.

Feels like we are using the kids (Who I doubt have a full understanding of what and why they were doing) for a bit of good publicity.

owl-zat
I bet this enquiry hasn't traced and questioned the local pub landlords from 1989 to ask what their recollections of the day were. It'll go from a whitwash in favour of the police to a whitewash in favour of the Liverpool fans. The fact they drafted the Arch Bishop of Liverpool in for an 'impartial view' a few years ago sort of says it all
