since59owe
Good goal v Barnsley or is it to soon ?
tallstac
I dont think he needs to be rushed along at all, be nice to let him progress steadily rather than chuck him in at the deep end. It's not like we really need him to be pushed either, we've got plenty of options up front and plenty of money too.
Blue and white
If he's good enough he's old enough. If we beat Derby on Saturday I'd be be tempted to give him a bit of a run.

Dronfield Blue
I'd leave him while next season as playing in the Prem will be better for him.
DanS6Owl
I've seen him most weeks since his arrival on the u18s & u21s scene and he is nowhere near ready in my opinion. All the attributes are there he just needs to be allowed to develop into them.
metaframe
I think there's a lot to be said for putting him on the bench for a match. SAF used to do this regularly with his young talent.
oh_weds_we_love_you
Give him a taster from the bench vs Wolves if we are guaranteed 6th and can't finish higher. Hopefully, he'll be out of loan in the near future to get some proper football under his belt.

David1867
Not yet. He's still a long way off first team football (if he gets there at all) let's not forget the club has signed other u18s on pro contracts too. As for putting him on the bench, we are at a critical point in the season and putting a raw 17 year old on the bench does nobody any favours. Possible, but it could toughen the lad up and give him valuable experience going forward. The loan system has developed plenty of youngsters to fulfill their potential over the years, so not sure why it would harm Hirsty.
Lee A
Still looks like a kid, albeit a talented one. Physically demanding, tough league this, wouldn't want him subjecting to the sort of crap Forestieri has had this season for example, let him develop, both on the field and in the gym a bit No need to put lads in until they're really ready
metaframe
For the avoidance of doubt, he added them to the bench to give them experience of the match day routine etc, rather than shoving them upfront for the last 20min.
ViolaOwls
Didn't do a 16 year old any harm last week against us did it? Watching his movement for his goal, I wish our target man did the same. To be honest if we get another three points before the end of the season then I would give him a run. Experience wouldn't harm the lad

matthefish2002
Leave it up to our trained, experianced amd well paid coaching staff to decide when he is ready for the first team squad not a bunch of people on an internet forum who would pick him largely on the strength of his Dad being a good player. TBF, the opening poster is only asking opinions. It's not like what we say will influence Carlos!
