Luke97531
I'm constantly seeing on Facebook & forums that we've blew it, and we're steering off.. Did people really expect us to be sitting 6th at the start of the season? It's early days yet, it's Carlos's/chansiri's first season in England never mind at our club. And in all seriousness are we honestly ready for the premier league? Let's just enjoy this season and focus on improving season after season. Marathon, not a sprint. I'm as pis*ed off as the next person about last night, the ref stole us. But we need to get behind the boys and give them the support they want. As I say it's still early days. Come on the Wednesday! asteener1867
No..We are not ready for the Premier league....but if someone offered you a chance of £100 million pounds... Would you turn it down cos you didn't feel quite ready? A season in the Prem could set us up for years..and this is the best chance we have had in nigh on 2 decades... This team in the Premier league would probably get slaughtered... Westwood.. Lees and FF would probably be the only players who could cut it... BRADDAZ
People reactions to a few results & performances are hilarious. Typical of the reactionary, fickle nature of football fans. Up and down more than a Yo-Yo. We're in a very good position and are currently unbeaten in the league against the current three play off teams. Every reason to be positive. Can't wait to finish in the play offs, go into them as the outsiders, as it will suit is down to a tee and see what we can do. I fancy us to beat any team in this division. Very real chance of promotion this season and who'd have thought that back in August. It's all positive at SWFC and I love it.

The Night-Owl
Its still in our hands. The pressure is more on Cardiff to keep pace and overtake us. They've blown it the past couple of times they've had chances to close the gap. And now the games are running out. Their body language and from what I've been reading after their game with Brentford is that it's over for them. They need to win all their games left to have any chance. All we need is two draws or just one win. The comeback at their place was massive. It's been a exciting season, I never expected us to be in this position back in the summer, no matter what happens, the future is bright.
Rogerwyldesmullet
The Championship is a brilliant league in a way. Remember last year. With nothing to play for and a team with far less natural talent than our current squad, we highly peed off first Bournemouth and then Watford in their own back yards - and look where they are now. The madness is for any of us as fans to take teams for granted. I think we do it - assume we are going to win - and then project that on to the players - and say they are the ones being presumptuous if they don't stick 5 past teams below us. The unlikelys last night included multi shots, multi posts, crazy ref and a bottom line that franchise came for a draw. Massive improvement this year - we have effectively made the play offs - it's just that we are playing seventh before we play third. Hopefully a dress rehearsal for the final this Saturday. RichieB
Think people would have snatched hands off if offered the opportunity at the beginning of the season to go into the last day of the season in 6th spot with it in OUR hands as to whether we finish there, and that is the minimum that will happen now. At worst we go into the last day level on points with a top 6 place in our hands, and at best we finish it off this Saturday with 2 games to spare. Margins in football are incredibly fine....we could so easily have had a point against Rotherham, and three wins instead of draws against QPR, Ipswich and MK Dons. If so the nature of much of the talk on here would be totally different and the perceptions of our chances in the play offs much more positive. As said above if we're on our game we have every chance of going up. It's been a surprising season whatever.....
S36 OWL
You will always get a few who go into complete meltdown after a defeat . 1 win required at most , depending on how Cardiff do.
asteener1867
Get into the play offs...owt could happen...be it Brighton, Burnley 'Boro whoever... If I was a Cardiff fan..after Brentford i'd say we had totally f.ooked it... Look at it logically.... WE SHOULD get there...after that itrs simply f.ookin' fate..honest it is..The gods will smile on whomever they want... Who beat who months ago.... matters not Theres gonna be dice rolling, chickens sacrificed, comets...rosary beads, prayer beads...Ying Yang, Karma...all in the mix... Theres gonna be Owls fans dodgin' the cracks in the pavement, ladders to avoid walkin' under, ..Idiots sayin' Magpie backwards when they see one... Football will have f.ook all to do with it... ViolaOwls
Nature of this league is up and down results. Let's just make the play offs then it's evens for any team. Good chance we can do it. Say burnley drop away at the last min, there heads maybe shot. Not a bad time to play them. Hull are hit and miss as are Derby. Our season is blip followed by good results. Let's go again I say
NHOwl
if someone had told me at the start of the season that we'd be in the play-off's with a six point cushion and a far superior goal difference with 3 games to go I'd have taken that. Win at Derby and we're in. I'd rather be where we are right now than where Cardiff or Ipswich are.
