theowlsman
Remind me who we played when TC rounded the keeper, stopped the ball on the line, went down on his knees, and headed it over the line. Reyt player.

Utah Owl
Can't see the name Chester without remembering Ian Bennet's leg breaking, career ending tackle on Ian Knight. ^^^^ This You could hear the leg break on the Kop. Awful , horrible tackle. ^^^^ & this. Absolutely disgraceful challenge. Bennett never even went for the ball and poor Ian Knight's career was instantly ruined. It wasn't just Wednesday's loss either, Knight was England u21 Centre-Half at the time, paired with Tony Adams and was the more highly rated of the two. Gateford_Owl
I was on the Kop that night and can visibly remember asking my Dad what that sound was (Sounded like an air gun)... It was Ian Knights leg. He was a cultured centre back in the Alan Hansen mould. Terribly sad.
