alanharper
DIfference being that CC was dignified and philosophical about the bizarre decisions that have gone against us, whereas Lambert is a raving loon.
Lawrie Madden
They are drunk Handball the ball seems to strike Lopez on the back of his head and may have hit his hand afterwards how they can claim that as handball is beyond me That tackle is a disgrace he jumps in 2 footed its a red card all day every day and twice on sundays

OxonOwl
Yes, Craig Conway seemed to go through Alex Lopez rather than straight in to him and, yes, the reaction of the Owls players, crowding around the referee, baying for blood, may have influenced David Webb’s decision His leading leg, luckily for Lopez, went between Lopez's legs but the trailing foot (yes, two footed challenge) went straight in to his shin as he put his weight on that leg. Two footed, off the ground and out of control with both feet in danger of inflicting a serious injury. I don't think the ref needed much help from Wednesday in making that decision. Too right there was a reaction from the Owls players Edited April 7, 2016 by OxonOwl
mozzy85
As soon as I saw the tackle on the highlights I was fuming. I'm not surprised our players kicked off. It was far worse than BB's against forest. He can try and appeal it if he's feeling that strongly it wasn't a red.
Guest
For me, it was no worse than the one Bannan got sent off for.
oh_weds_we_love_you
For me, it was no worse than the one Bannan got sent off for. Big difference for me. Bannan slide in, Conway lunged in. One is allowed, the other one isn't.
TheEnchanter
They have a thread on their forum called, 'financial unfair play' From the club that spent a lot in the premier league, got relegated and spent more money and have £100M debt... it's so unfair! Cry me a river.
nevthelodgemoorowl
Think the report on Rovers performance has been extremely over egged by the Lancashire rag. A misfiring Wednesday could have easily ran in a further 3/4 goals had fortune smiled on them. I suppose Rovers gave it a go at the end but it became a comedy as their Kamikaze style left Owls fans more relaxed about the eventual outcome than I have ever known. CrosbyKitchens
Lopez's was a handball. No doubt. It was also a clear red.
Lee A
For me, it was no worse than the one Bannan got sent off for. Bannan's was a yellow card imo, mistimed tackle but a genuine attempt to play the ball, Hutchinson got away with worse tackles against Charlton Conway was a straight red in every game, he was inches away from Lopez, there was no need to leave the ground and lunge in the way he did. SheffieldGraduate
Fully agree I was in the South and was outraged, deffinately helped the ref make his decision. Musn't Grumble
I reckon that the ref, David Webb, had a decent game on Tuesday. Didn't really notice him in the first half but he got the decisions correct - for and against. Kept a low profile and managed the game well.
