Holmowl
Back to his best, and his best is very good. Last night I had him as my MOM. He dominated their attackers all night, in the air and on the ground. A couple of crunching tackles in the first half, but very controlled despite needing to launch himself. I love the way he throws his body at a penalty area block. Absolutely committed and fearless. His aerial ability is right up there. Not a giant by modern standards, but Im not sure he lost a single header last night, and certainly no-one wins one cleanly against him. He is one player I am certain will make the step up to PL. I dont think I am being biased to say he is as good as many of the PL centre backs right now. Is o Shea, or Phil Jones, or even Jagielka much better than Lees? Brilliant player. The bedrock of a wonderful defence. Edited April 6, 2016 by Holmowl
s6 owl
Classy as ever and probably our most reliable player cheers L**ds
mozzy85
Best of all cost barely owt as deemed surplus to requirements by Leeds. He's bloody great! As we've said time and time again this season our squad is looking really strong. If we could have had the team together sooner and Replay those first 6 games we'd be in auto's I've no doubt. If we mess up this year we will have a great season next year I don't doubt.
McRightSide
Would love to see how he performs in the PL - I think he has quite a bit of runway infront of him

Plonk
Think our defence tightening up coincided with his return after injury, would love to see the goals against stats with and without him. But according to the leedscum he's poo poo anyway
FlyingOwl
He put in about 3 crunching tackles last night in the space of 10 seconds where he couldn't quite get the ball away. Timed everyone perfectly. I really love him.
Toon Owl
Hard as nails and very calm distributing the ball when required. MOM for me.

BRADDAZ
One of our best pieces of business in our entire history. Such a good defender at this level and so consistent. I think he'd be fine with the step up into the Premier too.
Wath-owl
He was fantastic last season, but his rate of improvement since then has been amazing. He already looks like a Premier league player to me. 25 years old, English, one of the best centre backs in the Championship, nearly 300 career appearances already and on a long term contract. He would probably command the highest transfer fee of any player in the squad right now.
FlyingOwl
He really should be included in the championship team of the season. Really not trying to be biased. But he should. He just doesn't make mistakes. 3 goals this season too.
Lawrie Madden
Love Tom Lees the defender but he's a shocking Captain nowhere near vocal enough He was being held all the time last night never a murmur from him to the ref imagine someone like McCormack he would have screamed the Refs ear off
LoOn
How does this make him a shocking captain not all leaders of men shout and rasp some inspire through confidence and calmness. If he thought being held was a bad offence he may have pointed it out to the officials without you noticing. Loovens is not a screamer but each time a team mate discusses him they offer nothing but praise Edited April 6, 2016 by LoOn

Loovens is not a screamer but each time a team mate discusses him they offer nothing but praise Im not talking about how he handles the players im sure that part is fine Tom is never there when the ref needs a word watch McCormack he all but refs the match Sometimes you need to put the seed in the refs mind
LoOn
That is one style of that I'll concede your point it does not make him a poor captain not having that as part of his game though
FlyingOwl
Love Tom Lees the defender but he's a shocking Captain nowhere near vocal enough He was being held all the time last night never a murmur from him to the ref imagine someone like McCormack he would have screamed the Refs ear off I wouldn't say he's a shocking captain. Perhaps he's not a vocal one, perhaps he feels uncomfortable stepping into Loovens' shoes, or perhaps he needs to adapt to it. He's still relatively young for a captain, & outside of football he doesn't strike me as a loud in your face type of guy. Loovens isn't much more vocal or in your face. Wouldn't call him a shocking captain either. Just a case of personal preference. That said, I get your point. I also prefer a captain to be a massive talker and someone who can give the ref a talking too. I don't think we've had a captain like that since Rob Jones maybe? Anthony Gardner was similar to Loovens, Semedo felt uncomfortable in the role. Who else have we had? Hutchinson strikes me as a potential captain.
