RobbieOwler
Just saw this article on facebook posted by Match of the Day: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/35954678It would be 'incredible' according to a Cardiff player if they were promoted this season. This got me thinking, out of the 6 teams likely to end up in a play off spot (Burnley for the autos), who do you think the average football fan will be rooting for?Middlesbrough and Derby both spent ridiclously in the past few seasons, Cardiff are in an embargo for the same reason and no proper football fan likes their villian like chairman for breaking up club traditions. We witnessed Hull Tigers in the premiership last season so it wouldn't be that exciting to see them again on Match of the Day.Without a tainted view, who do you think would benefit the PL the most for indifferent football fans next season? Us, Ipswich or Brighton? Or if not The Wednesday, who else?
matthefish2002
Think the average Premiership fan probably doesnt give a flying f*** who goes up really.

Box_Man
They'll just want 6 points off all three promoted teams they won't care who gets promoted no sentiment in premier league football these days all about the £££££££ and for any club in the bottom half not getting relegated is their sole goal each season
southportdc
I've got a feeling this thread might decide we are the most virtuous and lovable team out of the options put forward.

Groundhopping Owl
Suspect we're not the best ones to decide that really Cardiff are a weird story this season though, there's been a permanent gloom around the place, they look to be in an absolute mess with record-low crowds but Slade's kept them clinging on to the play-offs and suddenly stories like this are promoting a real "feel-good factor" with the club. horny owl
Who cares?ExactlyI've been jealous of clubs getting promoted to the top flight while we've been rubbish It'd be great if we did go up though cus I can start watching MOTD again instead of that cr@ppy championship programme. Cersei
I think people will wanna see us back up. I'd like to see Leeds and forest back up though so maybe I'm an odd ball.

I would love to see Forest up in the Premiership, maybe Leeds in a few more years under the condition that we're there too.
southportdc
Neutrally speaking, Wednesday fans, who are the most exciting and deserving and physically attractive team up for promotion this year? I think it's Sheffield Wednesday.
S36 OWL
The prem clubs wont give a monkeys who is promoted, they will just see them as easy picking next season , which sometimes back fires on the prem clubs.

I think it's Sheffield Wednesday. Option 1: Option 2: Option 3: It's a no-brainer. Surely the people at Sky Sports and MOTD would rather have our Sam on advertising campaigns..... Lythamowl
You have a whole new generation of football supporters since we last appeared in the premiership so for that reason alone I would guess that many neutrals would prefer us as its a ground they wont have visited before. and its a damn sight easier to get to than middlesboro....... Suzuki_San
All the London clubs (of which there is many...) will want Brighton, as it's a nice day out, wee wee up on the seafront, an hour on the train.
MAL
That's not fair mate, a current player against two older managers. For fairness it should just be the managers, so i have amended it. Option 1: Option 3: It's a no-brainer. Surely the people at Sky Sports and MOTD would rather have our Carlos on advertising campaigns..... Kate
I'd quite like Sheffield Wednesday to be promoted. That might be nice
