Inspector Lestrade
Most crushed I've ever been, especially getting in...dead scary, thought I was gonna sheck a 6. Was a bit of a squeeze, nearly a million Wednesday fans on that end.
Mountain Owl
Was always great to be on the Holte end. Not quite as sickening as the semi against Brighton at Highbury, we threw it away that day.
BRADDO
I was 15. Shat me sen when we scored. Ended up 30 yards from where I had been standing with my older brother. Couldn't find him. When scousers scored always remember them being reyt scummers, throwing coins at the netting that divided us. We played well that day. Gutted. marconi
I had managed to get two tickets in the Everton end, and on the night before the match managed to get two tickets on the halfway line, behind the dug outs. Went down on the train special, which dropped us off at Aston Station, a five minute walk from the ground. A couple of mates bought my unwanted tickets for the Everton end. After the match they looked as white as sheets, saying their fans were like animals, and were glad to be out of their crowd. Lucky escape!

Holmowl
My abiding memory is the unbelievable time wasting after Sharp scored. Should I let it go? Is 30 years enough?

Yes remember the time wasting, saw myself on MOTD standing up to throw abuse at Peter Reed, who was taking an age to take a free kick on the halfway line. TANGLED UP IN BLUE
I was only a youth, in stand with my dad and was absolutely gutted. Up there with the game I got a bloody nose over some sweets Bertie Bassett had chucked over kop fence and Coventry keeper Steve Ogrizovic scored past Martin Hodge. All part of my learning curve. 1/10/1983
The foul on Snodin in the build up for their first was so clear cut. He gets wiped out and the ball gets played back in over him whilst he is still on the floor, but.... ...George Courtney was referee. For you young 'uns, you've not seen a shi.te referee anything like Courtney. He was a disgrace.

I can still see the ref theatrically throwing his arms to his sides to signify no penalty on Megson. Why do that, if you're playing on just get on with it ffs
