ramone
Hypothetical question (to the minority of people that want to see us promoted this season) Results against the teams currently in the Play-Offs Hull (h) 0-0 Hull (a) 0-0 Brighton (h) 0-0 Brighton (a) 0-0 Derby (h) 0-0 Derby (a) TBC Do we see the results obtained so far as a positive or a negative? BIG D
We've never looked in that much trouble in any of those games but I suppose the opposites would say the same. We are better now though. Edited April 4, 2016 by BIG D
FlyingOwl
Was saying this the other day to my brother. Can only be a positive. I do see Hull as being ''better than us'' just on the basis that they're higher and were PL last season. But two draws is fantastic. Both even games too in the sense that we've probably been at our best in one half of each of the games, and Hull had one good half in each game too. Would still rather have Brighton though. FlyingOwl
How do you think we'd do on penalties?
Hedwig
It's neutral, but based on the games so far, reckon we had the better of Brighton in both games, so bring them on.. Derby in pure free-fall at the moment, so nothing to fear there either.. Hull looked good at the weekend (I know it was Bristol City) , but they look to be hitting form again at just the right time. Plonk
Think we are getting stronger while the likes of derby are wobbling. If someone else gets a bit nervy in the run in we could be going into it as one of the form teams. Those that are in for autos may also be a bit down at missing out? Captain Sl-OWL-ly
How can the op say "to the MINORITY of people that want to see us promoted" ? From having read most of the other thread I would say the vast majority of us would take promotion given the chance !
lʍO‾ǝsnoɥpooM
Reckon we'd put up a good fight but lose out to Hull, Theyre just too strong, they shouldnt be in the playoffs to be fair Brighton i think we could sneak it, Derby - all depends on which derby team turns up, we could get smashed or they could

Derby will also be pooing themselves due to past failures. We're fresh.

FlyingOwl
Brighton were the best team to come to hillsborough for me this season Probably the most organised side. We matched them though, on a difficult night weather wise too.
Groundhopping Owl
Derby have a large history of ballsing up in the play offs, we don't. Think we could be surprised at how big a factor that is.
wednesdaywizard
I fancy us against any of the top 6 over 2 games apart from Burnley.
doubleo
As the results show - there's not a lot between the teams. If we do finish in play offs (sorry, just a superstitious thing - been watching Wednesday a long time), none of them will relish playing us. Our advantage is we didn't expect it this season. Ever the pessimist
Away goals don't count in the play offs. So we would have beat Hull 1-0 had it been a play off game?
