millomowl
Ronaldo getting a hattrick for Barca against Valencia in 1996 at the Nou Camp - went again in 2009 & Messi had a decent game against Santander, so it's between Ronaldo & Zidane's performance against England in Euro 2004 when France won 2-1 late in the game, far too good for England that day was Zizu. For us Waddle on numerous occassions :)

nevthelodgemoorowl
Oh there have been many.... Duncan Edwards, Pele, Slim Jim Baxter, Davie Cooper, Georgie Best, Willie Henderson, Rodney Marsh, Frank Worthington, Eddie Gray. Our list ...Ron Springett, Peter Swan, Roland Nilsson, Don Megson, Ian Knight, John Sheridan, Tony Kay, Siggi Johnsson, Chris Waddle, David Layne, David Hirst. Of those mentioned Duncan Edwards, Ian Knight and Siggi Johnsson all had their careers cut short. Who knows, they might have gone on to compete at the very top with the likes of Best and Pele

scilly owl
I remember watching Wednesday win 3-0 at White Hart Lane...Di Canio and Carbone ran the show that day... Ginola was the best that Spurs had but he didn't take the wee wee on that occasion. (Christian Gross was sacked on the Monday after)
Loxley Owl
In real match, Cristiano Ronaldo in the season Manchester United won the CL. I saw Ronaldinho play a training match in January 2005 and that was even better, but I'm not sure it would count.
