East Yorks Owl
Based on the Forest game I reckon these two might have an important role to play in the run in. Reading McGeadys interview on the SWFC website he confirms he hasn't been fit, but Saturday's performance seems to have given him confidence. Similarly Matias' goal against Forest could be a turning point for his season. Although neither player has made a big impact thus far on the season, it's plain to see the quality is there. Wouldn't surprise me if these two show some class now.

agentwalker
They need to especially with bannan missing for three games. Watching the forest highlights bannan basically ran the show, huge boots to fill.

NIOwl
It took Hooper a while to get up to speed, neither have had the same run of games it took for him to get there.
OWLS about that?
For me, a fit and firing McGeady is only going to be a good thing. He's getting up to full fitness at exactly the right time
Guest wilyfox
The stage is set for them. Both have had frustrating seasons for different reasons, but can come out of it as heroes if they deliver.

owlZfan84
People were far too quick to judge McGeady and Matias - just like Hooper. Both will have huge parts to play during the run-in.

Questioning a players fitness is not the same as doubting their ability,I may have been guilty of doubting Hooper's fitness, not his class. Guest Ferkorf
Hopefully both can stay fit and turn it on when we need them. To me theres only Burnley that I'd doubt us beating in the play offs. But the rest are fair game. We have no pressure. Nuhiu is going to come on in he play off final and net the winner....
Dunkstar
This the stage of the season where squad depth really comes into play and thats our big strength over the other contenders bar Derby possibly. Carlos has stated all along that he thinks we'll be strongest in the run in due to having more players fresh. McGeady and Mathias will have a big part to play in the run in and hopefully the playoffs too.

mozzy85
Couple more games for them and hopefully they'll both be match fit which is gonna be vital heading into the final stages of the season. One game at a time though. Hate playing Charlton so just hoping for 3 points no matter what. Edited March 17, 2016 by mozzy85
