ozowl02
As its a Friday night, I usually skim read Owlstalk to see team news and rumours going around SWFC this weekend. I've got to put it here, in the last two weeks our fans belief has slipped a little. We're sixth in the table and all everyone is moaning about is 1. We're not getting to the play offs, 2. Nuhiu and how bad he is, 3. Where are the live streams, 4. Crowd Attendences and 5. Our form. First, have a bit of belief that we're going to the play offs. Yes it has been a slope in the past weeks but we're going to get over that this weekend. Stop moaning about it and get behind the lads because with some of your attitudes, we're more than unlikely to reach the top 12 come May so come on boys, no excuses for Charlton match. Second, lets have respect for Nuhiu. Your slating him when he's barely done anything wrong. We lose tommorow? Blame it on Nuhiu. Lost against Rotherham. Blame it on Nuhiu mainly. Lost against Predton. Blame it on Nuhiu. We're one team, not divided. Get behind him give him some respect!! If we lose its not ALL his fault. Understand that. Number 3, Live streams?? And you are wondering why we reach 20k on home matches. Get off your backsides and get to Charlton. £20 and £5/£10. £30!! At the most for an adult and child. No live streams needed!! Because if you all stopped watching Jeff Stelling on Gillete Soccer Saturday thinking whether to have steak or mince pie for tea, we might actually get a decent attendence each match. 4. Crowd attendences, basically I've just answered it, get up, book, go. Done! 5. Our form is a bit slippy at the moment, but let us Wednesdayites go to forest tomorrow and claim 3 points and that will get the ball running. Who says we ain't making the play offs!!?? Tea Baggins
I love the Streaming argument people have jumped on. Do you realise that some fans live overseas? Some can't make it week in, week out due to work, finances or again distance? But yeah you carry on lecturing. Maybe the club should think of selling a season ticket and stream in themselves every home game. Say £100 for the season?

Yes true but when your moaning about ticket prices and you live near Hillsboro there's no excuse for you not to come to 3-5 games is there. Overseas I can admit because its tricky to get to games but when you live near, there's nothing you can say apart from ticket prices. But good point brung up! I go often but it's an expensive affair with 2 kids. Wish I could attend week in week out but I just can't.

Wish I could attend week in week out but I just can't. I agree, but that's why they are the cheap games like Charlton and Arsenal (£25 each) if you had 2 children that's £30 each game. Its cheaper than games such as Middlesboro and Derby matches. And with the Arsenal Cup match, you had a brill atmosphere as well.
ozowl02
If you don't want to pay the prices Chansiris setting, go support Barnsley or Chesterfield who let you in for about a quid
Tea Baggins
But you just can't change teams. I pay it and accept the reasoning behind it. I'm simply saying that low income families cannot spare that money.

I'm simply saying that low income families cannot spare that money. Yes I know, but Chansiris made the games so that some of the big contenders are more expensive and some of the lower class teams/big atmosphere contending are more cheaper so really you just pick the lower class teams who cost £25-£

Sheeeesh I'm not referring to you mate. I understand you go quite often. I'm talking about the fans like my grandad who gets low income jobs and cant get season tickets like all of you. That's why we have the cheaper games so these fans can come and get behind the lads. Understand that first before begging my ear about it.
LoOn
"Only £30" There are people for whom after tax that is more than half a days pay. It's only £30 is only a point worth making to those whom find themselves privileged to have disposable income. This is what bugs me about certain posters you preach that you are superior for making the sacrifice of your finances to watch the team. Some people do not have that option of luxury so get off your high horses. I travel a distance and never miss a home game and have commuted to the 3 year season ticket I am extremely lucky to be in a position to afford this. Mate you ain't get tickets lower than £30 so if you think its crap about this tax stuff, tell that to Chansiri, not me who doesn't really care. Our family has low income jobs but me and my son still get to 1-2 matches per 2 months.
