When the ball comes into his area he has no idea whatsoever where the opposition players are unlike Palmer who invariably gets to that ball first. HE CAN NOT DEFEND. Hunt was no worse than 5 or 6 others today. On balance he's probably our weakest player in the starting XI... but in modern day football typically speaking full backs are the weakest members of a squad. Posted March 5, 2016 Share Posted March 5, 2016 The better of a very bad bunch today, took a very bad knock but was desperate to stay on which is huge credit to him, was arguing with the medical team that he could continue and came back on and did fairly well (in the context of a pretty abysmal team performance). BingleyOwl Posted March 5, 2016 Share Posted March 5, 2016 Afraid to say it but Hooper has performed consistently poorly in our last 3 games and was our worst player today. He looked very weak and his touches were poor. Other than being a good 'finisher', I think he's lightweight and over rated.
