Glass half full or half empty

We have had a disappointing display today against Rotherham , but we are in the play offs with a chance of going to the Premiership

With all thats happened in the club over the last must be 15 years , this is a fantastic season , we have seen some world class goals

We have some really exciting players to watch and a Manager who has done an amazing job in winning the fans over and other fans ,

Managers and commentators alike have given praise for him and the team

High point of the season was the game against Arsenal and then climbing in to the play off zone

It certainly feels like we are a rough diamond we are not at a premiership level to compete but would the chairman give a massive budget to buy some class if we was up?

I think we have had a fantastic season and as disappointing as today was , we just dust it off and carry on with the remainder of the season and watch the show unfold for us all

I hope we don't start getting on the teams back and CC back and keep remembering where we was and the new hope we have now

Get a larger to top up the faith

Don't drink mate but I know what you mean.

I'm very annoyed and down. Can't stand those toy town clowns with there plastic pigs.. Such bitter, small time nobodies. Incenses me that we helped bail them out.

I'm proper angry toneet

Some serious pointing at the cat later

Think we have been spoiled TBH...I was reckoning on simply competing and maybe just above midtable playing better football..as it happens we have done a little better.

Todays result has been skewed by who we lost to and who manages them...Take that outta the equation and its simply a bad result.

Still in the play offs....admittedly by our fingernails, but its more than I thought at the seasons start...So I'm just going to go with it.

I'm sure most fans would have taken this position, at this stage of the season, sadly we got beat by Toytown, managed by Colin...double whammy that has some fans reaching for the cutlery...including my lad who is f.ookin' fuming lol

Pity you can't bring yer kids up ..then take 'em back to the 70's for 3 months or so..The 90's are on Youtube or wherever for all to see...

I don't expect promotion this year...In fact i'd rather drift outta the top 6 now than lose in the play offs..

Getting into the play offs would be excellent...but I doubt me nerves would stand it.

I am not a drinker also , i just need the red mist to vanish , i am going to stick on us doing them in injury time at there plastic bowl . will help to sooth the sores , Rotherham are blades in disguise , it amuses me to see teams who play in Red bring along red Pigs ! the irony makes me smile , not seen a blue pig ever !!!

Full glass for me 888. Nice post.

Positives....

Fessi back with fresh batteries on Saturday.

Lucas is back.

We are 6th.

Ipswich and Cardiff at home.

BUT.....the table may look a dirty brown colour next Saturday night. Two aways - not our strong point. Could well be 8th or 9th.

Lets be honest it was never going to be a nice relaxed gentle walk into the play offs. We don't do that do we?

Got to be on the front foot from minute one though. Wise old heads like Warnock and McCarthy will do us if we start slowly at home. Still, I think the play offs are ours if we get back to anywhere near our best.

35000 v Ipswich and Cardiff me thinks.

Holmowl

5 Homes and 6 Aways

a massive crowd for Charlton and i would imagine if we can by some chance pick up something as you say the next two matches might be

A few more 28,000 attendances to come before the season is over if we get something over the next 3 games just might happen

We are in the best position we have been for years but over the last few games the performances and more importantly results have been poor. We need to change something to enable us to stay in the top 6, can't throw this away. I hate getting beat by Rotherham, even more so a Warnock managed Rotherham.

0-0 at Hull...isn't a bad result mate...the performance against QPR wasn't a bad one...Today?..yea both performance and result were poor....

If Rotherham can come here and beat us..We can go to Brighton and beat them...Its the way the bloody division is..its mental....
