F. Spiksley
Hmm... Interesting views expressed by the old knobber there. Unusual, even by his standards to be so scathing publicly about one single player. Probably why he never got beyond a few goes in the Prem! OwlLuke
Hmm... Interesting views expressed by the old knobber there. Unusual, even by his standards to be so scathing publicly about one single player. Probably why he never got beyond a few goes in the Prem! Bear in mind at the time that Lees was young and barely just beginning his senior career, then your gaffer says this on TV and blames solely the loss on you. Top manager. Thankfully it was probably just the beginning in how he ended up here, so all's well ends well.
Tea Baggins
My goodness, I actually don't think the current manager of that club would publicly say that.
new zealand owl
calling a player out like that is a manager attempting to cover his own failings. Lees will remember that and it can only be a good thing for Tom and us come saturdays game.

FlyingOwl
A lot of Leeds fans say that this was the beginning of the end for Lees' career with them. His confidence took a serious knock. Gonna have him to score first tomorrow. Would love him to celebrate right in front of Warnock but we know that Lees has more class and dignity than that.
