Crewe do the double

Recommended Posts

When Mr Chansiri has finished with

the first team he will need to look at the academy and get some proper coaches who know how to coach and talk to youngsters. Our performance in getting academy players to the first team has been woeful.

Wildsmith and palmer? Hardly woeful. But prior to that I would agree. Sure Mr C won't have thought about it though?

Division One Crewe inflicted a double defeat over both our, U18s on Saturday, and our U21s today. All in all, a pretty poor couple of days for the club.

So two players in nearly 10 years? Thats woeful. Our coaching staff our poor and it needs a big clear out with some quality professional coaches brought in.

The best coach in the world can't turn a piece of coal into a diamond. I reckon we need scouts who can spot schoolboy talent. I've always said pele could have lived in pitsmoor and we wouldn't have spotted him. There's been 3 Sheffielders in the England side recently. Vardie Cahill jagielka. Two supported us. Where were our scouts?

I was attempting to play football last night and was introduced to a new player who played with Vardy at our academy and he said the reason he wasn't signed was because he was too small. Go down to our academy and watch the groups of coaches huddled around talking amongst themselves or ringing their mates whilst ignoring the football being played. I have seen some of our scouts attend grassroots games talking into their mobiles with their backs to the play. Unless its an emergency then I don't see why its necessary to spend all your time on the mobile when you are being paid to watch a game of football. Its not difficult as the United, Derby and Chesterfield scouts seem to have mastered watching a game of football.
