S1Owl
He mentions it a lot in his pre-match interviews emphasising on the importance of the (massive) fans. I think he's a bit miffed by it all & was expecting something like Borussia Dortmund or Besiktas where crowds turn up an hour before to build the atmosphere up. It's a bit lame at home except matches where it's needed, e.g. Wycombe and Kaiserslauten.
Sgt Wednesday
The atmosphere is a bit flat, many just want to watch the game and don't worry about the atmosphere.
S1Owl
It was better in the Atkinson//Francis era.., like a celebration each game at home. I'd love to hear a loud rendition of 'Carlos Carvalhal', 2 then 4 syllables to show our appreciation of his work at home.

bradowl
I thought it was much better last Saturday especially as they were very few away fans.
S1Owl
Just a name chant like would be good, I think cos it's been so feces over the years we've forgotten how to do it. Maybe a generational thing.

maidstoneowl
As soon as we get some decent away teams on the L.L. end, the ATMOS WILL RETURN! And by decent I don't mean the Dirty scum up the M1, or "Blackburn", Derby or "Hull", I mean, come on. Give it time... the good times are nearly back. S1Owl
I'm thinking Carlos is a bit p..t off about the lack of home support considering how well we are doing. I guess he heard we were massive when he put pen to paper. I've seen managers leave for less.
Guest steerowls
If you price grass root fans out and replace them with the middle classes then you will lose the atmosphere. Football should belong to the working man, not the prawn sandwich brigade.
Guest trusty_left_peg
The atmosphere on the continent tends to be a bit more lively and noisier than in English grounds. The Turkish league has some of the most fanatical followers in Europe.
