Playoffs - who'd want to play us?

Recommended Posts

said several weeks back that with average luck  re-injuries playoffs here we come  I was getting that 91 feeling again about the team again. Since well we've had horrible luck:  Our #1 &  #2 keeper have injury probs so #3 keeper steps up and earns his place with good displays. Our defence changes every week with up to 3 CB out at any one time

and yet we still keep climbing,  coming back from behind despite atrocious luck with injuries again and a fluke goal the psychological boost that's given us can't be bought.

a few weeks ago Boro and derby were nailed on    hmmm not so much now.

genuinely think none of them will want to play us,

They may not have to because the top 2 is within our grasp, Come on!!

Every team will have their fair share of injuries between now and the end of the season... What will be important is the strength in depth of the squads going into the play offs.

Still a long way to go... I am slightly worried regarding our goalie situation though, I think getting one on a short term loan deal would do no harm

The good thing about our lads is that they don't have the weight of expectation on their shoulders

Derby, boro, hull and burnley are expected to go up, and it'll be the end of the world if they fail

They are starting to wobble a little now, whilst we keep on going

I think Boro would like to play us. Having done the double already. Other than that, we'd give the rest a hard time over 2 legs.

I think we could take them with a fit 1st team

by making the most of their nemesis  Big I'll feckin smash them Dave

Worst case scenario for me would be to finish in the playoffs.  Need to push on from here and aim for top two.

Playoffs are such a huge gamble and could be a letdown after potentially a great season.

But then the more I think about it getting in the playoffs gives us a 25% chance of going up, not that great but that's the best odds we will have had in years.

Bring it on.

Westwood took a knock on the head, he will be back on Saturday V Brentford.

New rules mean he will be probably be missing for at least 1 match. He has to have 2 days of no training, then 2 days of light training and then have 3 training sessions without showing any symptoms of concussion before he is cleared to play.

Those numbers may not be 100% correct, might be more/less now.
