I actually felt a bit misty eyed when I saw it up on the screen. Woodbines and hooped socks, kids being passed to the front, fans swapping ends at half time. The waft of cigar smoke , four bright pylons shining down like beacons of the heavens. Marvelous stuff. Good job I had my Werthers on hand as I was getting a bit wobbly jawed. They want to change the bulbs in the sign first, looked terrible last night.The new old badge looked better in HD than in LD print. It is growing on me and I suppose I'll just have to get used to it! I just don't want to see a half-and-half sort of scenario here. Pick a badge and use it for everything. If the club shop still has the old logo as decor, redo it. Well said nev, to be fair a lot of posters don't know any different, they have grown up with the minimalist badge. They will get used to it they will have too, its here to stay.
