Attendance v Burnley

Recommended Posts

The false comparison with the Arsenal game needs to stop.

More people will come to a one-off 'event' game - it's not as price sensitive because it IS a one-off special occasion. A good bunch of people will pick it as their one game of the season and wouldn't consider coming on a regular basis.

The club needs to look at consistently lower prices for games at the weekend when people actually want/are free to go before they write off price as a factor.

19K for a top of the table clash is surprisingly poor for a big club playing their best football for years and in their highest position for years.

Something has obviously gone wrong regards trying to entice back the missing supporters.

Could be worse, could be letting adults in on kids tickets like your lot have been.

This. Also, the half-terms/school holidays in the midweek would be another thing of prioritising too to get more families in.

Ahh that old wives tale... Just like the tale about you lot giving away tickets in the pubs around Hillsboro when Megson was manager.

You have to admit though based on the last 20 years of underachievement getting 19,000 in the Championship is decent.

But Sheff Utd after 80 years of underachievement and pain currently average 20,000 in division 1.

Very view clubs outside the top 6 in England could hope to match that level of support when giving their fans almost nothing to cheer. We are officially the best supported club in the UK and probably Europe based on our record of winning nothing and not even being in a cup final since the war.

Just priced up tickets on the Kop for Brentford game for an adult, a 19 year old student and a 15 year old. £92! How anyone can justify that for 2nd tier football is beyond my comprehension.

Chansiri has dropped a huge clanger with this ridiculous pricing structure.

There are many fans just like me who can't possibly afford that and are disappointed at the way we have been treated by the club.

I fear that we are losing many potential younger supporters.

Don't talk crap, everyone knows loads of adults get in with kids tickets, any blade will tell you this.

Reason you can't afford new signings because gate receipts are wee wee poor.

People in the last couple of weeks have had to fork out hundreds/thousands for these multi year season tickets, so it's no surprise some people might have to skip a rescheduled fixture that costs a bomb and on a cold Tuesday night.
