Atdhe Nuhiu

Recommended Posts

Don't usually post on here but I think the text I received earlier from a local headteacher deserved a post:-

"Atdhe Nuhiu came into school on Wednesday - he might not be the greatest player but he is a fantastic ambassador for SWFC and football in general - he was brilliant with the kids and with any parents he met - nothing was too much trouble - I will be contacting the club to tell them so - a top bloke!"

Not everything done in the 90 mins on a Saturday should define you.

Many footballers get a bad rep nowadays and probably rightly so. This guy though oozes class and passion.

Glad he's at our club and hope his work ethic, class and passion rub off on s few of the more talented youngsters we are bringing in.

That's great to hear and it tallies with what I've heard from others as well.

My dad randomly bumped into the squad at a service station heading to an away game last season (I can't remember which one), and whilst the rest of the squad quite understandably met his 'Good luck today, lads!' with polite smiles and thumbs up, Atdhe made a beeline for him, chatted with him for a couple of minutes and posed for a photo. He didn't have to do that, but he chose to give a few minutes of his time to engage with a fan, and it speaks volumes about the man.

Dont tell Ian

Obsessed with me more that I am supposed to be with him.......never once on here has myself or anyone else said anything remotely negative about Nuhiu off the pitch.....which is a shame for those obsessed with those of us who don't think he's a very good player, but there you go.

There goes Ian's Friday night.

Another one.....I think you can get treatment on the NHS

Nuhiu is one of those players, not that good but is very positive around the club (similar to Reda). A lot of opposition managers hate having to prepare teams to play against him that is for sure. He does have a part to play for us. Maybe CC can have a word with Hooper and ask him to give him Nuhiu some coaching, it might just improve his goal scoring record!

His passion and love for our club should be applauded. I am not in the I love Nuhiu club (total opposite really), but its good he will still be around for a while and prove that their is existence of the fabled Yeti!
