shandypants
We should be able to play a "second" team good enough to beat Shrewsbury. The first eleven could do with a rest.

Philb125
I agree 100% - there are also loads of players either on fringe or getting back from injury who need match fitness. Price Palmer Sasso Turner/Lees (are either back in training yet) Bennet Matias Semedo Lopez Sougou Jaoa Dave/Bus
marcx666
even CC? So Bullen takes charge?
Southie_Owl
Cardiff tried a similiar thing in the last round and lost. Although I agree the second team should be played in that game I wouldn't be so confident of a win, but a draw should be possible
Guest wilyfox
I'm sure we will. Carlos will do that rotation thing that he doesn't do
WC1Owl
Have we even got a whole other back 4 at the moment?
s29wfc
Shrewsbury aren't mugs, Dumped out Cardiff in the last round and got a good win today at top of the league Burton.
Philb125
Our fringe players should have enough quality and if they didn't it isn't a huge loss. I'd far rather a competitive game vs Burnly than burn out. The league has to be the priority whilst remaining competing in the cup. That's some result today, changing my opinion now, show them some respect and put out a strong team.
GMOwl72
Certainly rest Westwood, Hunt, Pudil, Bannan, Lee, Hutch, Forestieri, Wallace and Hooper. Price,Palmer, Bennett, Semedo, Sougou, Joao, Bus should all start.

reesh1
Next three league games: Burnley Brum and Brentford! All against close rivals. Rest the lot. If we lose we lose. Can't afford any injuries.
Guest ka58
I don't like resting players for cups usually but against lower league sides we should still have enough. Massive game against burnley coming up as well
