Seen it all now at the Monaco Open Nadal Vs Murray. Nadal taking 30 plus seconds between points all match. Given a time violation warning after 3 sets on match point.

To be fair Nadal on clay is still a different proposition to most, he wore down Murray in the semi and Murray is known for his fitness, think Monfils just put everything he had into winning that 2nd set

 

Big talent, but his record of 5 titles from 24 finals has to be among the worst of all time, never seems to get over the line

Think he has definite stamina problems. Watched him in Florida the other week he looked like he'd been stood in a shower for 20 minutes he was drenched in sweat.

This thread is poorly titled for the clay season.

Suggestions please.

Well clearly if Australia is the bottom of the world grand slam and Wimbledon is obviously the centre of the world grand slam, then Paris is the slightly right of centre of the world grand slam. 

 

That or the 'inappropriate surface for playing sports on grand slam'.

 

Something along those lines.
