Reminiscent of the Mind the Gap season!

Recommended Posts

I think that Carlos could lead us to a long unbeaten run surpassing what Jones did with Megson's team when we came up to the championship.

Ive always been a bit hesitant to be optimistic of our chances the last few years, but something is telling me that this is going to be our season.

Imagine carrying our form through over the next 19 games. It's not beyond the realms of possibility that we go unbeaten. 15 wins and 4 draws will see a further 49 points. 94 points would see us in automatic promotion.

I'm not saying it's going to happen, but I think we are capable of doing it. Do you know why?

Because we're Sheffield Wednesday and we're on our way back!

Ps...

IF we do go up, will we be singing "We're Sheffield Wednesday, and we're bloody well back!!!"

This season is a better opportunity than next season in my opinion. Currently we're underdogs with less pressure as it's considered a bit early for us given the recent restructure with chairman, head coach and influx of new players. However, if we're among the favourites next season, then it adds additional pressure and expectations making it that little bit more difficult.

That's why I fancy us this season!

Lets get February out of the way first. Two more wins will see a 100% record this month and probably the manager of the month award for Carlos. February looks a little tougher but they are all winnable, set small achievable goals and the bigger prize will fall into place.
