Very tempting prices, even with the distance involved.

Would be going on my own more than likely so what's the train situation like in Reading? Easy enough to make my way to the stadium from the station?

Alternatively, having never used it, what's the ICO like?

Tempted by a reasonable price? Surely not! 😉

Have a look here - http://www.footballgroundguide.com/leagues/england/championship/madejski-stadium-reading.html

From memory the train is a bit of faff; both getting to Reading and the ground.

Station is 3 miles from the ground, but they run a shuttle bus.

About 3 hours on the train. You change at Paddington for Reading, but there are some direct trains from Doncaster and Sheffield.

It'll be £60/70 in fares. £45 with a rail card.

Book early, if you are wanting this method.

ICO is good, but personally I'd go with Wednesdayite coaches.

Cheers for the help.

Was speaking to my Mum last night...tried to plant the seed of going to the match in her head. She wasn't having any of it. It is the travel expenses that end up crippling me if I want to go without them. And I've got my summer abroad to pay for so, even with the £10 tickets, I think I'm gonna duck this game.

I'm pretty sure I'll go to Forest though, one of Huddersfield or Hull, and probably Wolves at the end of the season. I'm praying for no more big away games in the cup...lol
