Is upper tier pay on the gate on matchday?

Its not clear on the website just says 'more tickets will be available'

It depends how the sales go - currently 700 left.

Although our max allocation should be around 4,500 so it 'should' be pay on the gate. If you can, purchase before.

Sam max allocation 4500,? 700 left is that out of the 4500, so we have sold 3800?

We've sold 2,900 so far. The 700 left is from the second batch of tickets we were sent. Another block of tickets is available if we want it.

Sam, or anyone, where's the best place to park at Ewood. Not been for a while.

There are a number of 'matchday parking' efforts leading up to the ground from either direction. The official BRFC parking is quite close but is a tenner.

Sam, or anyone, where's the best place to park at Ewood. Not been for a while.

If you go near the pub that I'm about to quote, there is quite a lot of street parking between there and down the hill to the ground.

There is the Golden Cup pub which is further on past the Fernhurst (going away from the ground) on Bolton Road and is tucked in by the motorway bridge. However this Thwaites pub is quite small, gets rather crowded and it is a good 20 minute (mostly uphill) trek from Ewood Park. It is friendly though and also offers a range of pies. On the other side of the motorway on the same road going further away from Ewood Park towards Darwen is the Anchor Hotel, which is also frequented by away fans

Failing that the official advice is as follows;

Car Parking

Various private car parks are available in the area around the ground, costing in the region of £5. If you want to get away reasonably quickly after the game (the roads immediately around Ewood are closed off for crowd safety for around 30 minutes after the game) then as you come down the hill on the A666, you will pass a petrol garage on your left. Turn right at the next traffic lights into Branch Road and down on your left there are some industrial units offering matchday parking. After the game turn left out of the car parks, so that you are going away from Ewood, turn right at the second mini roundabout and this will take you back up to the M65.

I live 10 mins from the ground. Loads of free parking on the road just to the side of the Fenhurst. Never fails.

Should take me and my dad about 45 mins from my house. Going to park round there somewhere.

Hopefully be a fair few pay on the day. United only sold around 500 more for their trip to Barnsley than we have for Blackburn

Is that spoons next to train station an away pub?

We always go in it, just a normal Wetherspoons.  We park near the ground then get a bus to the town (£2.50 return last year)

We're meeting an Accrington fan who I know who lives near Mill Hill Station (£1.70 return) and she's taking us to her local which is called 'Havelock'. She also says it's fairly averagely priced as well
