We may have to push the boat out on this one and run to 350k.
evaD
Now this would be an exciting signing.
BIG D
If we pay 32k a week for a player then we've lost the plot. I can see an end to my time trawling over the m62 to watch this lot Well, that would make sense.
FlyingOwl
Well we know that we've met his asking price because the same bid was accepted by Watford from Leeds. Just a case of personal terms, wages and whether he feels like he can settle in Sheffield. Hopefully McGugan and him got on well at Watford. owlZfan84
According to Phil Hey (Yorkshire post LUFC writer) he seems to think it's nothing to do with location, he turned down Leeds because Forestieri and his agent felt there was a better deal for him elsewhere Nixon has also confirmed this too - location not the issue. FlyingOwl
Nixon has also confirmed this too - location not the issue. Course it's an issue. Not in terms of Fernando didn't want a move up North. He just didn't fancy living in a shithole.

new zealand owl
I hate Leeds too sign him up speaking of Weeds, looks like their chairman was at the watford game on tuesday to try and finalise the deal, interesting how two days later we put a 3 million bid in. I do think this is even less likely than hooper because of him not wanting to come up north. we have to face the real possibility of looking at two new striker targets now, which may not be a bad thing- we just need to act quickly

apswfcowl
If this happens we'd have a pretty good team I guess :) .................Westwood............... Hunt......Lees.....Turner...Wiggins .................Hutchinson........... ........Lopez..............McGugan.... .................Forestieri.................. .............Hooper....Matias.......... And without the ball which of that front five is going to track back and do the dirty work? ....or are we just keeping it for 90mins?
KernowOwl
I wonder why we've waited till now to make a bid. A player like this is needed for Saturdays game.
Alan
Is Scram about? He's probably the best to say if there's any mileage in this panning out in our favour....

Bluesteel
He loves to score against us. Not sure he scores that many but he is a headache for defenders with his movement
