Ever the pessimist
West ham fans are going to HATE it. Until they start doing really well because of it. Those who still hate it will get replaced by new fans who love it.
southportdc
Just watching NZ hammer Namibia there now. Could give them a bit bigger try areas.

darklord
West ham fans are going to HATE it. Like to have replaced seats with types of greenhouse and boarded of dark sections. Cant make head nor tails of it
Sonny
Dunno about the glass bits but I think the dark sections are just big gaps opened up when the lower tie moves forward to cover the track.

Patient zero
Couple of pictures of progress at Anfield on the main stand, if the main roof beam is anything to go by, looks like this stand is going to be hugely out of proportion to the rest of the ground. Pinched the pictures from a site called "skyscrapercity" which on the sub-forum "world forums-stadiums and sports arenas" has pretty much daily updates on most stadium construction projects in Europe. southportdc
It's going to look ridiculous. Can only assume the long term plan is to bring the other three up to something like that size.

Sonny
I think they're planning to expand the Anfield Road Stand next in a similar style, which will make more sense of the huge Main Stand but make the ground look a little lopsided.
