Agree, especially given their NFL games at the stadium. Let’s hope it’s not the Green Bay Packers Cheese Heads coming to town!

Why I oughta....................

Seriously doubt it'll be GBP - unless they away at one of the few clubs who haven't been to London that is

Kew Bridge Station is just out of shot to the right.

Still looks like a pain in the arse to get to by tube though. The current ground is a right trek from South Ealing,  new one looks a similar distance from Acton Town.

Gunnersbury is the closest Tube station by the look of it. 5-10 minute walk.

Yeah, probably - I didn't see that one, on the map I was looking at it only shows up as an overground station!

Better than the long hike from South Ealing to Griffin Park then.

I love Spurs new stadium, but this opening ceremony is a reyt load of cringe.

It's almost like they're trying to impress the NFL................... #waytoocynical

(the 2 singers were good, though)

I do like how they've done the stands and kept the fans as close to the pitch as reasonable.

Seems to have good sound too

Agreed I suppose they are onto a hiding to nothing, they have to do something.

It reminds me of why I never watch the world cup opening ceremony

That was my feeling............seemed like it was appealing to a different audience.

Sounds incredible though and that South Stand - wow.

Is there safe standing at Spurs?

Don't think it's allowed in the Prem yet. Surprised that they didn't go for padded seats like they have at the Emirates and MK Dons.

Also surprising they didn't fill the stadium last night. Perhaps the capacity was restricted.
