The Night-Owl
They bought a fluke Premier League title over 20 years ago, this gives them the right to call us "Dross". That's because to many of their fans football and Blackburn Rovers never existed until the formation of the Premier League.
The Night-Owl
If they lose Rhodes, Gestede, Olson, Cairney & Marshall they might be a dark horse to go down next season for me. This ^ They could be in a Blackpool, Wigan or Fulham type situation next season.
Bluesteel
Blackburn are another club who have always spent well beyond their means and never fallen foul of it until now

General_Grievous
I don't think BM is a world beater by any stretch but he's a couple of links up the food chain from Maghoma and Maguire. He'd cost a million probably, poss 1.5. We need a full team at that level as a minimum
stocksyuto
750k starting bid if true not a bad start just because we are spending money doesnt mean hes over inflating the fees on every player we sign
RichieB
Between £1m-£2m would get Marshall imo.

Yeah, I reckon we might be candidates for relegation too if we lost Westwood, Lees, Loovens, Lee and (can't think of another decent player) Also think Man Utd might struggle if they lose De Gea, Rooney, Carrick, Jones and Fellaini. Jesus wept.
Guest Johnbloodaxe
He'd be up there for sure. I remember JohnBloodAxe was adamant he was signing and the thread went on for ever until Sharp was pictured in a Reading shirt And MM and Gray confirmed it that they had been negotiating for 10 days to get him. Or was it MM & Jones. Anyway it was confirmed it had been very close.

RichieB
Hmm... Better players out there in that price bracket these days. IMHO That might be true, the transfer market in today's world is mental. We live in an age where Harry Maguire goes for £3m and Michail Antonio goes for £1.5m Il never ever ever get my head around that.
