Official Summer 2015 Transfer Rumours Megathread

Recommended Posts

I think that probably goes to prove there is a world of difference between being an extremely promising youngster and being a decent level pro.

The gap between even the u21's and the first team is a huge chasm - even semi decent pro's stand out a mile in development football

Yep. Steve Haslam played for England at every level until U20, and even captained England teams which included the likes of Michael Owen. When it came to playing with the big boys his and Owen's careers went in totally different directions.

Good signing for them. Surprised he's kicked about so long before getting a deal. WBA, Bournemouth, Rotherham, and now Charlton all took a look. May have been others too.

He's had one and half good seasons in his career. Lived off potential alone for the early part of his career, 6 good months at Barnsley and then a half decent season at West Ham. Spent last two years not playing at West Ham.

Bullet Dodged.

And how many years in the prem with Bolton and West Ham? You don't get to stop in the top flight for that long unless you've got something about you. People keep coming back to that "one good season" crap. It's not as simple as that.

Would have been a great signing for us. Imagine him and Joao up top together. Cause some right havoc

Apparently he`s been training with Toytown but they have decided not to offer him a deal .

Former Barnsley striker Ricardo Vaz Te trained with the club earlier this week, but it is understood that that club won’t take there interest in him any further.
