Why do people do this?

Recommended Posts

My mate wore a red jumper to the league cup final in 91, we'd had a few the night before and it didn't click until we got to Wembley way. Ended up buying the biggest rosette you have ever seen to cover it up but you can still make him out on the video of the crowd.

My 4 year old daughter insisted on wearing a red England hat we got at Wembley the other week. Didn't feel right but she had her Wendesday shirt on.

Does the England badge make red a bit more acceptable?

I do not possess anything red except my lifejacket when out fishing.

I forbid my kids to wear red within 300 miles of where Wednesday are playing.

My other half knows better after I set fire to a red scarf she wore when we first met.

Red is a horrible colour and doesn't represent our club in the slightest, anything but red is acceptable

No 'Owlsman' they're red underpants. They're made of satin and have nice lace trim round the legs.

I've never quite understood it myself. It's as if those people have only one clean garment left in the house. Not that there's any excuse for owning anything red (other than a Ferrari) anyway.

They make Ferraris in blue (look good IMHO too) and also yellow.

No 'Owlsman' they're red underpants. They're made of satin and have nice lace trim round the legs.

It's a comfort thing right?

It irritates me that my blood is red.

Lord Snooty and The Squire of Preston don't even have that problem. Not sure about eDDie.

He's got out of bed angry this morning.

You can see his angrymadness in every post.

Hope his Mrs doesn't give him the wrong cereal for breakfast.

Not sure if the OP is being serious or not.

Personally I am not a red fan (other than sports cars), but its ludicrous to say people shouldn't wear red to a Wednesday match.
