Why do people do this?

Recommended Posts

I do not possess anything red except my lifejacket when out fishing.

I forbid my kids to wear red within 300 miles of where Wednesday are playing.

My other half knows better after I set fire to a red scarf she wore when we first met.

I've never quite understood it myself. It's as if those people have only one clean garment left in the house. Not that there's any excuse for owning anything red (other than a Ferrari) anyway.

They make Ferraris in blue (look good IMHO too) and also yellow.

No 'Owlsman' they're red underpants. They're made of satin and have nice lace trim round the legs.

It's a comfort thing right?

SHU should get some, and a Snickers.

He's got out of bed angry this morning.

You can see his angrymadness in every post.

Hope his Mrs doesn't give him the wrong cereal for breakfast.

One cold Wednesday night in the 70s I was one of about 10,000 watching us lose to Mansfield. I was stood on the Lepp.

At full time I took some verbal abuse from a couple of lads. Couldn't understand why.

Only later, I realised I was wearing my Wednesday "away scarf": yellow and green. Very close to Mansfield's colours.

I've been very careful about what I wear to the match ever since.
