Think tank
Just watched that on facebook. Great re-living it, good bunch of guys! Bullen seems very optimistic about the future!

FlyingOwl
I've genuinely never heard Brunt speak before that video... Peacock's gear is horrendous. Hamshaw just looks awkward. How many games did he play that season? Can't have been many though I do remember him scoring a deflected goal, which may have been against Hartlepool in the league. I was only 9/10 during that season, so the likes of Brunt and Whelan...and Graeme Lee who I really rated...were my childhood heroes. Unreal to think that it's nearly 10 years ago. Time really flies when you're........relegated back to league one again and spend what feels like an eternity watching the team claw themselves back to a respectable position. Guest wilyfox
Makes me wonder how the two promotion teams compare '04/05 vs. '11/12 ... Some quality players in each.

Brunt and Whelan better than anything in both sides but at the time were both young and didn't start showing their real class a couple of years later in the Championship. One thing that was apparent in both teams was the team spirit... And both teams had a striker who actually scored goals... And defenders who chipped in with more than their fair share.... Some interesting thoughts. Obviously the latter won automatic, but I'm leaning towards the '04/05 team. MacLean vs. Madine...I favour Macca. Brunt and McGovern vs. Antonio, Marshall, and Treacy...tough one. Whelan and O'Brien vs. Lines and Semedo...
Kanye West
Great to see them all together again. On a side note, bullens last few words at the end "it's exciting times" with a little grin - got much more to look forward to I'd imagine!

Antonio, Marshall and Treacy were far better players for us in those particular seasons than whelan and brunt. Both of those were a couple of seasons off peaking for us.Also notice you ignore the defence which was miles weaker than the 11/12 side. Patrick collins and Paul Heckingbottom? Promotions central mid was Whelan and Rocastle...for the parts that mattered anyway.
