torryowl
Incredibly tough call - probably the toughest call we could make comparing our players I loved Pearson and genuinely believe he wasn't just under-estimated by football fans generally - but even by our fans at times Great player, sold way before his time - lifted our only trophy of note in 3 generations and i love the guy to bits Lyons by name - Lion by nature - absolute beast of a player - good job we played in a cavernous stadium because his heart wouldn't have squeezed into it otherwise Just an immense character Honourable draw - i really cannot choose

dontCallMeOwlCallYou
Pearson starting to take this one....Think its simply more people remember watching him live. I voted pearson for that reason, lyons was before my time, so votes like mine are probably worthless tbf Edited March 10, 2015 by BenitoBarham

Musn't Grumble
Too tight to call between Lyons (a monster) and Pearson (captain of a Cup winning Wednesday side) but Pickering runs a close third.

Geedee
i saw both of them and voted for Pearson. Tight run thing though I saw both play and voted Lyons a very close call and nobody could be criticised for voting pearson. To say pearson wasn't fit to lace micks boots is a ridiculous statement

Utah Owl
Love them both. Signing Lyons was a masterstroke, knew from that moment promotion back to the top was only a whisker away although it took Wilko to insert the missing pieces of the jigsaw. Pearson on the other hand captained us to the only trophy we have won in my lifetime. How can you not love them both?

HirstWhoScoredIt
Pearson was man of the match in a cup final versus Man Utd that we won. He scored so many goals to help us get there. For the only reason that he inspired us to our only trophy in my lifetime, I give it him.
