we don't get the ball in the box enough

The only players we have who are capable of placing excellent delivery into the box consistently is McGugan and to a lesser extent McGuire.

It drives me crazy seeing players just swing their foot at the ball when crossing and it happens a lot at Hillsbro. It's just plain lazy.

That's our problem

We mess about with it in midfield, pass about on the edge of the box, and our strikers atre forced to come looking for it.

Oru strikers are poor. if we aren't going to buy new ones we need to give them more chances

Stop messing about and play it in

3 words, tactically inept manager.

We put plenty of balls into the box last night, especially in the second half. The problem is crossing from 35-40 yards deep is easy to defend against. Crossing from the touchline makes it harder for the defenders to deal with and also allows our attackers to run onto or run away from a player and attack the ball.

When we did that last night, once or twice, we caused them problems.

We don't put any quality in the box. Maghoma has no left peg yet persists on attempting to cross with it. Maguire can't get it off the ground. Even the full backs Palmer can't cross and neither can Helan/Dielna.

Our delivery has been awful. But the manager is to blame for not sorting this problem. When you let Antonio go, we let about 8 goals and 8 assists go. We haven't replaced that at all.
