But then again neither do hundreds of thousands of 15 year old kids playing on sh!thole pitches up and down the country every week, somehow still managing to put crosses into the box No excuse for the likes of Helan I'm afraid, nothing to do with the pitch that they can't cross or control the ball because it happens when the pitch is brand new aswell, just not good enough the same 15 year old kids who if good enough go on to represent england at international level... and half way through the tournament (when they're on they're way home) we say "why aren't our players as good as the continentals?"... agree with use of the big guy in english game, as opposed to the skillful guy... for some time now english football has been blessed with big, strong running, athletic sportsmen, as opposed to ball playing footballers... then because we don't encourage football skills as much as other countries, when a club at the highest level wants a skilled ball player, it's likely they'll go abroad...
