Carl Shutt is God
Mate it isn't that. Most people didn't expect us to splash millions, I know I didn't, but I did expect us to address the actual areas that were a priority. Know what your saying. Just depends on availability of the right players and how much we can spend. Takeover not yet ratified.
The Night-Owl
The Royals could yet see more action this Transfer Deadline Day as rumoured target Nicky Maynard has apparently seen his contract at Cardiff City terminated by mutual consent. This comes at the same time as League One hotshot Eoin Doyle is set to join the Welsh side in a £750,000 deal.

swfc1983
Clear as day, everyone can see it, a winger, a midfield general and an experienced striker We've signed a striker, admittedly not experienced but a striker non the less, Mcgugan is an experienced championship midfielder, we do need a winger but the loan window opens again in a week when that can be addressed. As mentioned earlier this takeover hasn't even been ratified yet so I would be shocked if a new owner came in and spent millions on a club that isn't even officially his yet

Dronowl66
You rely on your right winger to provide service. Along with an effective attacking right back yes absolutely
S36 OWL
If reports are to be believed, McGugan permanent and Vermilj loan. If thats the two , still no winger what we are crying out for .

Bluesteel
I don't think we should sign any more than 3 really. Too much too soon can be disruptive in any case I just think a drenthe replacement is/was needed. Vermijl is clearly an opportunist signing though, get him whilst available. Blue and white
McGugan will be a quality permanent signing. Although we are lacking a winger this is still a top signing if it goes through! He will if we can play him further up the field instead of just in front of the back 4.

As mentioned earlier this takeover hasn't even been ratified yet so I would be shocked if a new owner came in and spent millions on a club that isn't even officially his yet The only crumb of comfort I'll take from that, would be the permanent signing of Lewis McGugan. Don't profess to know too much about Bus, but it's an awful lot of pressure on the lad to hit the ground running. We now know we cannot rely on any of our existing strikers, so this guy has to come in and start scoring the goals.

F. Spiksley
Sadly, and most disappointingly the writing is on the wall for Gray if he's not going to be backed before the window shuts with the quality we need outwide, in midfield and upfront. Unless Gray is backed then it's a clear indication he's got just until the end of the season to show what he can do. Then our real business begins in the summer? The job he's done so far on a shoestring, getting us within touching distance of the play-off's with inexperienced bottom 3 or lower league attacking options, proves he needs to be backed. Disagree. Activity today is dependent upon a number of factors from amongst, and not exclusive to; 1. FFP 2. Likelihood of a realstic push for top 6 3. Availability of targets 4. Asking price (clubs know we have a bit more coin so will ramp asking prices up) 5. Options after todays window shuts that would be better as loan signings 6. Offers for players that we want to ship out 7. The Kieran Westwood Conundrum
