Striker refused move but deal agreed

Recommended Posts

Really don't see the point of these announcements

Agreed. Does anyone genuinely think that this does anything to appease the fans?

Whilst I agree with you, the flip side is without them I would expect that there would be a uproar from some fans that the club weren't trying to sign anyone.

Probably Wood...again lol

Could be. Like I said earlier, might be another attempt for the same player. Maybe we're guilty of assuming it's someone different. Gray did say he will "keep chipping away", so maybe he is persisting with the same target.

So would I

The stevie May bashing is as OTT as the expectation he brought with him.

He has a lot of potential and is clearly a player up for working hard on his game. He will prove his doubters wrong

Thing is, I don't think people doubt he has potential, but I don't we should be in the position where we have to play him every week. If anything, the claims of what he was going to do this season, have fallen well short of the mark. Like Lavery, he's one for the future.

No striker in there right mind would sign for a team that doesn't create any chances.

They might when you sign McGugan and get Drenthe back from suspension.
