Guest minsk owl
My personal favourite was one in the 79-80 promotion season. It was spring 1980 I think and it was in a thrashing of somebody. TC waltzed around the Keeper, slow walked the ball in to the net before swinging on the back of the net bang in front of us on the leppings lane. Pure class to a 13 year old. Could have been against Rotherham 5-0 I think that the game bryan remembers , is 3-0 against Chester

bryan1966
Could have been against Rotherham 5-0 Can't see me being daft enough to stand on the leppings lane against Rotherham when I was 13. Just looked up online. We beat Wimbledon 3-1 and Blackpool 4-1 at Hillsborough in March 1980. I'm guessing it was one of these games. Can't see scorers though ? Past Member
Sinking to his knees before the Blunts after scoring that header on Boxing day! Like Gazza said this picture is fantastic, does anyone know if it's available on a poster or canvas. I'd buy it straight away. It wee wees all over the selection of canvas's in the Owlsshop, (although some are decent)
