Orlando_Trustful
I think the club should introduce one or two 'Gentlemen's Executive Box' for the games. This could involve free flow alcohol, log fires, the finest Eastern Bloc and South East Asian strippers, roast pork sandwiches and cigars.

owls maniac
With that in mind, you'd think the cost would be a little cheaper, as it allows us to now sell another table with seats in the grandstand Having said that, the facilities and food are tremendous this season. The boxes are desperate for a overhaul though, they look like Travelodge bedrooms at the moment Agree totally. The furnishings and wallpaper probably haven't been changed since the south stand redevelopment.
Essix Blue
I think it's a sad reflection on our club that we only have about 20 boxes and these haven't sold out for the season

Guest Deleted member
24 boxes at £25000 each per season. We've had them 20 years now, and they have easily, on their own, recouped the investment we made in extending the South Stand Damn that Dave Richards guy and his stupid ideas
@owlstalk
Wednesday have (finally, thanks to the new COO) realised that the law only prevents you from consuming alcohol whilst in view of the pitch. Therefore, the blinds that are fixed to the window of each box are now drawn 15 minutes prior to kick off to allow box holders to continue to drink throughout the game. You still can't drink and watch the game, but I'd say that's an advantage these days..! Jesus How bad is that Someone needs alcohol that bad at a footy match that they are willing to go and hide behind the curtains to booze That's sad sad times that is Owlstalk Shop

Rogers
What's the view like? Seems like the window frames block the view in that picture
Sonny
Not a bad idea this. I remember having the same at Luton in 1998.

coopswfc76
Great idea to free up space in normal restaurant & as somebody earlier said earlier in the thread we need to look to use these rooms more midweek as Hotel Rooms, Not sure how much would cost though to put basic Bathrooms attached to each room so we could do this but its 100% the way forward. tilIdie
There only doing this because they cant sell them, I was on ground tour last week and the bloke said about 7 boxes are empty most games. They have name tags next to the box's but in reality there empty. Westwood had one last week for friends and family so the real reason there doing this is due to the fact no one wants one.
