It all makes a difference. I'd find it hard to accept that the current level of apathy toward attending home matches is the root of 5000 stay always. There was huge amounts of enthusiasm and optimism in the summer and first few matches. There was loads of concern too about lack of transfer activity, but still the majority had optimism. Take into account the deflation felt by a few when a takeover that promised so much (on paper at least) collapsed. Then add in current form and unfulfilled promises about signings.
