since59owe 2,568
Steve May was quoted as saying "I didn't even know where Rotherham was, I asked lads at the club and no one had a clue".

stocksyuto 2,781
Andy delort 22yo plays ligue 2 football in france has scored 31 goals in about 99 games, worth about 3-5million. Going to charlton if reports are true. Stevie may 21yo plays in the scottish prem, scored around 75 in 105, worth 800-1mil?. Footballs gone mad.

Suzuki_San 3,173
Didn't May only have a year left on his contract? Knocks the price down a fair bit.
TheEnchanter 23,163
There's no way he'd have gone for £800k had he not rejected StJohnstones contract offer and only had 10months left. I think on a 2-3 year contract we'd not even have bothered enquiring because his price will have been upwards of £2.5M

IstillhateSteveBould 4,620
Really pleased with this. Young, hungry, highly rated striker who knows where the net is. Very composed in front of goal. Looks like he works his socks off and will likely be a pest to opposition defenders. Yes he's costing a bit by our recent standards but you have to spend some money at this level just to compete. I just hope our fans give him time to settle and don't get on his back if the goals don't flow straight away. New surroundings, new teammates, better opposition etc... In fairness you can usually tell from the day they sign whether the fans will back them. A lot of positivity and excitement about this signing indicates he will be given time. SallyCinnamon 25,786
Love how wweboom (Steve) broke he was signing way before anyone else. He's genuinely ITK.
Bluesteel 15,809
In all seriousness - and, without bitterness, I don't know how they do it. It can't be sustainable with their crowds. I'm expecting it to all end in tears. That plus paying for a new stadium
SiJ 50,056
Could be the signing that galvanises things if he can hit the ground running. Club has been in a complete malaise during pre season and needed a shot of something to get things going.
WAWAWUTO17 1,672
Can we all just take 5 minutes to thank Steve Evans for his excellent scouting mission over the last 12 months. We couldn't have done a deal in a week without you

Guest Distraught!
Need all i need to know about Steve Evans from a chap in our village that is a Boston Utd fan Steve Evans only took the job at Boston because he read about the Boston Tea Party. He thought it was a kind of thing they did in Boston where he could eat loads of cakes and sandwiches before supper.
