Sheffield Wednesday are contemplating a move for FC Groningen striker Género Zeefuik, according to FLW sources.

Zeefuik is a target for Wednesday



Zeefuik, 24, is a Dutch striker who plies his trade for FC Groningen in the Eredivisie in Holland.


The Dutchman is expected to leave the club this summer, andSky Bet Championship side Sheffield Wednesday are considering making a move.


The 5ft 11 striker has only played his football in Holland, and he started his career at Ajax, where he spent six years. The striker has also played for PSV, Omniworld, Dordrecht and NEC, before moving to FC Groningen in 2012.


Zeefuik has amassed 40 appearances for his current side and has scored seven goals during that time.


The 24-year-old would be their fourth signing of the summer, following the arrivals of Ryan CroasdaleKeiren Westwood andSam Hutchinson.

Yep seem this looks to have a decent ish record

10 in 12 for Dutch u21's

Then sort of 1 in 5 ish recently at club level

We will be linked to just about every single want away striker in this pre season thanks to finally having some money.
