Guest TC OWL
Said it before, will say it again, JOURNEYMAN. 4 clubs in 5 years when he played in the UK. We made a profit on him for a change... Move on!

themaskedowl
Algeria really impressed me, they have some decent quality players. Agreed. They lacked a little compared to some of the top teams but, quite exciting and gave Germany a decent push.
Ante's Bubbly
We had Bougera in his prime and sold him because; a) We were offered more money for him than he was worth and b) He made far too many mistakes that led to goals for the opposition in too many games that he played in. Yes he caught the eye when he show boated past players who occasionally took the ball off him and ended up scoring, but at the time I'm pretty sure we decided that cheering when he showed off and got away with it did not make up for the crying when he got caught out and we lost vital points. Lets face it shortly after we sold him he looked a lot better for Algeria when we were desperate for a win in the 2010 world cup, after drawing with the USA. We still knew how temperamental he was at club level, but he played a blinder against us and Algeria held us to 0-0. For me he would be a very nervous step backward, wanting too much money and with no re-sell value. Hopefully, this type of signing is in the past if we are to achieve this self sustaining thing that we are supposed to be aiming for.
Ante's Bubbly
My favourite Algerian player was Feghouli, but once I realised who he played for, I gave up any hope of us signing him.
