Leicester away in the same season 4-2 win with over 7,000 supporters in the away end AWESOME.

It certainly was awesome - Weirdly though I remember this mostly because of the convoy of coaches out of Leicester - god knows how many coaches we took but remember people coming out of their houses 'cos they couldn't believe how many there were - police bikes sped up and down blocking off roads etc.  It was an awesome sight.

I remember the day well. That season was incredible. Sat on a wall outside the away end, talking to an old copper. Looking up the road, all you could see was buses and coaches full of Wednesdayites. He commented; 'just how many have you brought?, this is ridiculous'.

This is a  top fred. I was 16 years old and it was my first season ticket that season, so got to pretty much every game home and away. Someone had tried to convince me to go to the pigs match and got me a ticket, but i saw sense and thought nah balls to that, sold it to some divvy pig, and used the profit to get down to Ipswich! I remember being in that pen and being a bit worried about the crushing, tried climbing up the fencing to get to the back where i could see it was a bit emptier,Suffolk copper pulled me down from it and just said 'push in son, plenty of room.' I told him he was having a flippinglaugh, and had they learnt nothing from Hillsborough? I remember the heat, and the mixture of exhilaration and fear when we scored and loads of our lot spilled on to the pitch. All fear ebbed away and was soon forgotten though as we annihilated them, and we all sensed that we were seeing the beginning of something special.

I remember some Ipswich fan giving it the big'un to us lot at the end, only to have 7,000 of us sing 'you're gonna get your flippinghead kicked in!' and bye, bye, bye, bye, as he was escorted out by the dibbles!

Back to Sheff, and a spot of gurnin at the aforementioned Occasions, before heading back to someones house, for a little schmoke and chill out.

What a season!

I'd say between 35 and 40 Coaches went that day and what a sight it was indeed.
